O soncu, morju, pesku...
/ About the sun, the sea, the sand...
In malo za izziv, ki ga je razpisala Hali. Izzvala nas je, naj izdelamo voščilnice nestandarnih oblik. Pa sem naredila takole:
/ And to enter Hali's challenge - she wanted us to make a card of a non-standard shape. So this is what I did:
Rumen karton sem prepognila in izrezala v obliki poletnih natikačev, povzorčkala, posenčila in "obšila", naredila zareze, napeljala rumene in oranžne trakce in iz pisane rafije in plastičnih rožic naredila še nepogrešljive hulahula dodatke.
/ I folded yellow cardstock and cut out a flip-flop shape, stamped some suns and flowers, put some shades and faux stitches on the edges, cut the slits, inserted some yellow and orange ribbon. I took some colourful raffia and plastic flowers and made two hula-hula add-ons.
Za drugo stran (ki je v bistvu notranja stran voščilnice) sem izrezala dva malo manjša obrisa, ju posenčila in "obšila", nato pa odtisnila sončke na mesto za pete in rožice za prste.
/ For the other side (which is actually the inside of the card), I cut two smaller outlines, again put some shades and faux stitches on the edges, and then I stamped two suns on the heel spots and flowers for the toes.
In ves čas mi je dišalo po soli v zraku in po kremi za sončenje...
/ The scent of salt and sun cream was lingering in the air...
