PIGGELDY AND FREDERICK (2)
- LITTLE AND BIG PIG
Pipi je hotel vedeti, kaj je to kapitalistična svinja.
"Melkijad, pokaži mi, kaj je kapitalistična svinja."
"Nič lažjega," je odvrnil Melkijad. "Pojdi z mano."
/ Piggeldy wanted to know what a capitalist swine is.
"Frederick, show me a capitalist swine."
"Nothing's easier," replied Frederick. "Come with me."
Odpravila sta se na pot in prišla do...
/ They set out on a journey and came to...
"Joj, a toliko jih je," je zašepetal Pipi. "Jaz sem mislil, da je samo ena."
/ "Oh, there are so many of them," whispered Piggledy. "I thought there was just one."
"Kje pa," je odvrnil Melkijad. "Cele horde jih je. In vse na kupih denarja."
/ "No way," replied Frederick. "There are whole troops of them. And all of them sitting on piles of money."
"Aha," je rekel Pipi.
In odpujsala sta domov.
/ "I see," said Piggledy.
And they went back home.
Ko sta odhajala, se jima je zazdelo, da slišita, kako svinje pojejo "Mi gremo pa na morje..."
/ As they were leaving, they thought they heard the swines singing a song about going to the sea...
Pa grejo res. V Piran. Samo ne z Goričkega...
/ And they actually are. Going to the sea. To Piran. Just not from Goričko...
